2022 Season's Greetings and Opening Times

Here we are, almost at the end of 2022 and what a year it has been! We’ve had an incredible year here at PermaRoof Store. We’ve risen to the challenges of nationwide industry shortages and delays and we’re looking forward to forging ahead with our customers in 2023.

2022 has been a year of exciting changes, new launches and promising opportunities across the board at PermaGroup. We started the year with an influx of new recruits and began making new partnerships and plans straightaway.

Some of the group’s biggest news of 2022

Only in its second year, PermaRoof UK Commercial launched the PermaRoof Registered Installer (PRI) scheme earlier this year. The scheme’s aim is to support contractors in meeting compliance and the industry-wide skilled worker shortage. PRI has been a success so far with a growing number of tradespeople and clients benefiting from the scheme. 

Firestone Building Products, our biggest supplier, began a new chapter through its acquisition by Holcim, one of Europe’s most respected construction innovators. With a rebrand launched earlier this year, the 40-year Firestone brand logo is undergoing a change to Elevate over the iconic EPDM range. PermaRoof, as the Elevate prime UK distributor, applauds and supports the move fully and looks forward to exciting new doors opening for us and our customers in 2023. 

PermaGroup managing director, Adrian Buttress said, “It was great to be at the launch party for Elevate. Having had the structure explained to us on how it will grow, I am really excited for the future. Great to see some of our co-distributors from all across Europe too. Together we have become a very powerful team. 

Now we know we are going for the full building envelope, I am now working on our updated growth strategy to encompass all of this. The potential for growth was already huge. Now this has happened, things just got so much bigger.”

Our customers are always at the forefront of decision-making when it comes to new products – and we’ve been listening! New products have already begun to appear across PermaGroup as a result. 

We’ve launched a range of innovative Resista insulation, P500 liquid coatings and other exclusive commercial products this year, in addition to RubberGutter SA right here in the store, the latest in gutter refurbishment products. With plans for further innovative systems on the horizon – for roofing and more - we’re hitting the ground running in 2023 for our clients.

Adrian Buttress said: “When we bring new products to the market, we always place our customers at the centre of that decision.”

Friday 23rd December: CLOSED
Monday 26th – Friday 30th December: CLOSED
Monday 2nd January 2023: CLOSED

The office will re-open at 8:00 am as usual on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
