Everything you need in the right quantities
Buying your rubber roof in kit form ensures that you have all the materials you need in the right quantities. Quantifying can be one of the most stressful steps in the planning process if you’re not a professional roofer. We take the worry out of quantifying in three ways:
Standard sized roof kits
We stock a range of standard roof kits in the most common sizes. This is ideal for sheds and garage roof projects, which often adhere to standard sized models. All you need to do is know your standard size or measure the project and buy the appropriately sized kit. We will do the rest and include sufficient membrane, adhesive, sealant and trim (where applicable) to complete your job.
Custom and bespoke kits
We offer an option for you to build your own kit according to your specific measurements. Simply measure your roofing accurately and add your dimensions to the boxes provided (minimum 8m2). Custom kits are available with both standard grade (1.14mm) EPDM and premium grade (1.52mm) for heavier duty installations.
EPDM Kit Builder App
The Permaroof Kit Builder App is a free online materials calculator used by DIY and trade roofers across the UK to build rubber roof kits for all types of flat roofing projects, large and small. All you need are accurate measurements and a plan of your project that includes details such as adjoining roofing or upstanding walls, skylights, extruding pipes or drain outlets.
The free roof kit builder takes these basic details in just four steps and calculates a comprehensive kit in minutes. Send it to us with a mouse click and we’ll price it up for you.

Why EPDM rubber roof kits?
EPDM has the longevity and performance you need for modern flat roof renovations and it is fast-becoming the material of choice for specialist flat roofers all over the world. With a wide range of benefits, this high performing synthetic rubber membrane is the ideal, sustainable alternative to felt and other traditional materials that environmentally-conscious homeowners and tradespeople have been looking for.
Exceptional service life
With a 50-year service life expectancy, EPDM outperforms traditional flat roofing materials by far. RubberCover EPDM membranes have long warranties and when fitted by a PermaRoof Registered Installer, these can be extended by up to 30 years. We’re so confident in EPDM that all our shed roof kits contain a lifetime membrane guarantee.
Range of accessories
EPDM roofing systems have a wide range of accessories that can simplify handling traditionally tricky parts of an installation, such as dealing with pipe extrusions or fixing to adjoining walls or other roofing. We stock all the accessories you need and can help you tailor a kit to include them. Give us a call or use the EPDM Kit Builder. Some of our most commonly-used EPDM accessories are listed below.
Fast and easy to install
EPDM roof kits are among the easiest roofing systems to install and this is one of the reasons that they are booming in popularity in the DIY roofing sector. Cold-applied, using liquid or spray adhesives and typically in a single sheet, installing rubber roofing is a straightforward process that any competent and confident DIYer can handle.
Once installed correctly, your rubber roof kit will give you complete waterproofing across your project. It remains UV stable, durable and flexible over its long lifespan and does not degrade in weather extremes like other materials. Adding edge and gutter trim can further seal and protect your roof timbers and help to direct water to the gutter edge.
