Easy to fit, ideal for DIY
RubberCover EPDM membrane is designed to be fast and easy to fit to a well-prepared substrate. Applied in a single piece, there are no seams to handle, and few tools are needed, making it the ideal system for a competent DIYer.
This type of single-ply rubber membrane offers unmatched reliability and high performance, tested all over the world in a range of climates. Highly flexible and resistant to UV and ozone, it compensates for building movement and can elongate up to 300%. PermaRoof garage roof kits contain RubberCover EPDM as standard.
RubberCover EPDM membrane carry an estimated service life of over 50 years, based on proven performance in the field. This longevity can mean a much lower cost vs. value ratio than many other roofing systems on the market. It also reduces the environmental impact by reducing waste over the long term and is fully recyclable upon removal.
Installing EPDM on a garage roof is a low-to-no maintenance option. It is advisable to remove large debris, such as fallen branches, from the surface of the EPDM and visually inspect it bi-annually and following a storm. Extremely durable and hard to damage, but easy to repair if necessary.
