Add Rubber Roofing to Your Business with Permaroof Training and Assessment

If you’ve been thinking about adding rubber roofing to your existing roofing business offerings, you can’t go wrong with Permaroof training. Permaroof EPDM training is offered in both sheet membrane and liquid rubber roofing application.

About EPDM rubber roofing sheets training

Permaroof is one of the UKs premier licenced importer and distribution centres for Firestone RubberCover and offers accredited, Firestone-approved EPDM rubber roofing training for trade and DIY roofers.

The one-day, intensive EPDM rubber roofing training courses are packed with demonstrations, include classroom time and also offer plenty of opportunities for participants to take part in practical application of the product.

What’s included:

  • Numbered Certificate
  • 1 x Flash drive to include all the training guides including video training material
  • Training Guide and video for the Sunpipes
  • Small batch of brochures and epdm samples

Opportunity for trade roofers to join OSCAR

For trade roofers who want to have the edge over their competitors, the OSCAR® (Onsite Competent Assessment Report) certification is a recognised qualification in Firestone RubberCover installation. A useful installer-route to prove competence, OSCAR is open to Permaroof-trained installers and is an opportunity to gain a recognized qualification in Firestone RubberCover installation. The OSCAR® is a further chance to help raise industry standards and can give trade roofers additional benefits:

  • Improve your sales value and margin
  • Standardize installation processes
  • Improve your company’s reputation
  • Undertake local government work
  • Undertake Green Deal related work

You must have successfully completed a 1-day training course at Permaroof, before you can move on to completing the OSCAR® assessment.

Completing the Permaroof Training course makes you a registered Installer, but the optional OSCAR® assessment is based on an NVQ Level 2 Qualification. It involves a further, 1-day assessment and costs an additional £195 plus vat. Application forms can be found in your training pack at the end of the EPDM sheets training day.
